ART REDEMPTION RULES
Please remember to submit your criterion rewards in order to get the correct amount of HC for your work!
CRITERIA BY WHICH EACH PIECE IS JUDGED:
SIZE (How much of the character is drawn)
HEADSHOT: Only the head of the character. May include the neck and tips of the shoulders, if applicable.
BUST: The character depicted from the middle of the chest and up.
HALFBODY: The character depicted from the knee up; subjective, but in general a piece that doesn't show the entire body of a character.
FULLBODY: The entire character is shown clearly.
LINES (How the lines are drawn)
SKETCH: Pieces in which the lines are sketchy and/or there are no lines at all, simply a sketch.
CLEAN: Lineart that's clean and easy to read as lineart.
PIXEL: Lines that feature the use of a pixel brush or texture.
LINELESS: No lines are visible on the piece.
COLORS (The way the character is colored)
UNCOLORED: No color or a single color.
ROUGH COLOR: Sketchy or rough colors that often venture out of the lineart and are not clean in their execution. Monochrome palettes may also fall into this category.
CLEAN COLOR: Colors that are clean and clear to understand. The colors all fall inside the lines.
PAINTING: Colors that have been blended together to create a "rendered" feel. Monochrome paintings may also fall into this category.
SHADING (Lighting and shadows)
UNSHADED: No shading or lighting at all.
MINIMAL SHADING: Minor and solid shading. For example a solid black neck shadow, a single gradient lighting layer, etc.
CELL SHADING: Solid cell shading that adds depth of lighting to a piece, but isn't blended or "rendered".
PAINTING: Detailed shading that's adequately blended to create a "rendered" feel. Contains both a form of lighting and a form of shadows.
BACKGROUND (Anything in the piece that isn't a character.)
NONE/SINGLE COLOR/PHOTOGRAPH: Transparent, a solid color, or a photograph
PATTERNED/SIMPLE: Patterns that are drawn by the artist and not imported through the use of a brush, stamp, etc.
PROPS: Anything in the piece that isn't the Seraphox.
SCENE: A detailed background composed of a combination of props and a setting in which the characters in the piece are placed in.
MISCELLANEOUS
SIMPLE ANIMATION: Eye blink, ear flick, tail wag, etc.
COMPLEX FBF ANIMATION: A complex animation animated using frame by frame.
COMPLEX TWEEN ANIMATION: A complex animation animated using tweening.
